Myth: The Rise And Fall Of Orpheus is a modern retelling of the Ancient Greek tale of Orpheus and the underworld in rock musical form.

Summer 2016 – A new British rock musical premiered at London’s Cockpit Theatre. It was called ’27’ and it caused a real stir amongst audiences. Fast forward 18 months and now titled Myth, the production has been re-conceived for a strictly limited run of nine performances at The Other Palace.

A modern retelling of the Ancient Greek tale of Orpheus and the underworld, Myth features an electrifying score with outstanding performances from an ensemble comprising the best up and coming new talent.

Myth looks at mental illness and addiction in society and more specifically the rock music business, with a storyline with echoes of the tragically short lives of some of music’s brightest stars, including Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of the next chapter of Myth – a musical for a new generation that will make you laugh, break your heart and rock you to your very core.
