The award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery make improvised movies live on stage in their hilarious West End return, Mischief Movie Night.

Based on their smash-hit Edinburgh Fringe show Lights! Camera! Improvise, Mischief Movie Night sees the comedic geniuses behind the Olivier Award-winning and nominated shows return to their improvisational roots, with many of the original company members returning to the West End for the show.

Taking suggestions from the audience as to genre, location and title and bringing them to life – complete with rewinds, fast forwards, directors’ cuts and a live score – Mischief Movie Night is a different adventure every night.

All bets are off as Mischief Theatre invent a new – and brilliantly unpredictable – Hollywood blockbuster story every night: the only thing guaranteed is riotous comedy.

The jokes are already in full flow, as an early ‘cast list’ reveals the Mischief Theatre company are returning in force, casting Josh Elliot as Not Sure, Dave Hearn as Uncertain, Harry Kershaw as No Idea, Henry Lewis as Don’t Know Yet, Ellie Morris as Couldn’t Tell You, Charlie Russell as TBC, Jonathan Sayer as Who Knows and Henry Shields as Guess Who.

Mischief Theatre was founded in 2008 as an improvised comedy group, before going on to perform across the UK and internationally with improvised and original scripted work. This Christmas, Mischief Theatre will have three shows running in the West End: the Olivier and Tony award-winning The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre, and Mischief Movie Night at the Arts Theatre. The company is led by Artistic Director Henry Lewis and Company Director Jonathan Sayer.

With Showstopper! The Improvised Musical creator Adam Meggido acting as improvisation consultant, an evening with Mischief Movie Night is a hysterical alternative to a night at the cinema.

Starring them, directed by you – it’s a guaranteed Hollywood comedy hit!
