“One observation and correct me if I’m wrong here – but wouldn’t this night, tonight, have been slightly more, say, how can I put this – “of the fun” if we had invited people we knew?

Old school friends perhaps? Your old work friends? Or, I mean, I for one have a selection of friends available for varying situations. The meet and greet selection – bags of fun, wild enough to make the eve enjoyable for all, not wild enough to find the police knocking on the door at around the 3am mark searching the place for illegal substances.
Not that that’s ever happened to me”

Because good neighbours CAN become good friends?

Well it’s always a possibility. Since Jane’s old friends aren’t returning her calls, texts, emails, facebook messages or tweets, what more can she do than hold a party for the neighbours?

What follows couldn’t have been predicted by anyone. Who knew so many bizarre characters inhabited Marlborough Road? Thrown into close proximity, with the help of a few G&Ts or Watermelon Bacardi Breezers, they not only help each other open up about their lives but find a few home truths about themselves.

A humorous, witty and often ridiculous exposé of human nature and getting to know one’s neighbours.

A fresh new play from a new young female writer, with an all female cast and female director and producer.
