Following a sell-out run at the National Theatre last year, Poland’s foremost outdoor theatre company, Teatr Biuro Podrozy, returns to the National’s Square2 with its inventive staging of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Macbeth. The 60 minute production features armies on motorbikes, witches on stilts and a spectacular burning castle.

Theatr Biruo Podrozy’s return to the National celebrates its 20th year as an international theatre company. 

Macbeth is suitable for audiences aged 12+ and is performed in English. 

Square2 is a unique outdoor space created last year as part of the Watch This Space festival at the National Theatre.
