A man dances a love duet with a beer glass, a diva drinks to forget, Bud the plumber drowns behind the bar, and Jack Belane, tiny private detective, totally screws up a case. Welcome to the Low Life cabaret, where puppets live alongside people…

Blind Summit returns to BAC with the highly acclaimed Low Life, after a previous sell-out run in 2005.

Low Life is inspired by the short stories and poems of Charles Bukowski, whose gritty and influential writing chronicled the lives of the poor in 20th century America. Beautiful, funny and poetic, Blind Summit translates his stories onto the stage with puppets playing the central characters, creating an alcohol-soaked world of deadbeats and losers.
