About the Show Less...

London 2006. The West End is on its knees, can a controversial new play shock it back in to life? Read More >

For actress Nancy it’s the chance to re-launch her career and for star Tom Bates it’s a chance to seduce Nancy. For her mental health she knows she must resist such a dangerous man but how can she disentangle her own desires from those projected on to her? Is she living the dream of true love, career success and sexual liberation or is she caught in a lie of half-truths, brutality and betrayal thinly veiled as sexual decadence? The play also brings an old family friend in to her life which prompts the revelation of a dark secret that may provide the answers to the cause of her sexual psychosis. Will it save her or push her over the edge? A dark look at modern morality or lack of it in Theatreland. Contains explicit sexual references. Not suitable for audiences under 18.
