The internationally acclaimed Russian State Opera of Siberia perform Verdi's La Traviata. It tells the tale of the ill-fated courtesan Violetta and her love for nobleman Alfredo. From the exuberant drinking song to her poignant final aria, Violetta's transition from a colourful life of revelry to one of self-sacrifice is powerfully evoked in this sumptuous, fully-staged production. Rousing performances from renowned international soloists, a powerful chorus and the company's own full orchestra guarantee an evening of breathtaking opera.
