Starring in classic films such as Body Heat, Romancing The Stone and War Of The Roses (as well as her star turn on TV in Friends, in which she played Chandler’s Dad), Kathleen Turner has been awarded two Golden Globes.
Showbiz royalty for four decades, Turner was Oscar-nominated for Best Actress in Peggy Sue Got Married, and was twice nominated for a Best Actress Tony Award – for Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, and later for Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf, for which she also won the Evening Standard Award.
Turner also voiced the cartoon heart-throb Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and has enjoyed roles in The Man With Two Brains, Prizzi’s Honor, The Virgin Suicides, Baby Geniuses and Beautiful.
