Michael Morpurgo’s spellbinding story about the excitement of books is brought to life on stage at Polka Theatre.

A moving testament to the value of stories and the imagination, I Believe In Unicorns charts the story of Tomas, a boy who didn’t like books, stories or school, who was happier climbing mountains or tobogganing with his dad… unicorn the Unicorn Lady came to town and reeled him in with her irresistible magic tales. But then disaster struck and everything that mattered most in Tomas’ life was put in terrible danger…

One of Britain’s greatest storytellers, Morpurgo is well-known for his war dramas War Horse and Private Peaceful as well as other popular tales including Why The Whales Came, The Wreck Of The Zanzibar and The Butterfly Lion.

This show is recommended for children aged between six and 12-years-old.
