A portrait of the nonsensical genius Edward Lear which conveys a rounded picture of the man’s amazing life and unusual personality. Nicholas Parsons also illustrates Lear’s remarkable fantasy world through skilful and sympathetic delivery of his highly imaginative and delightful nonsense verse.

Nicholas Parsons, has had an illustrious career in theatre, film, television and radio and is now renowned for being the chairman of Radio 4s Just A Minute and previously for hosting The Sale Of The Century which ran for 14 years. He has presented three different one–man shows at the Edinburgh Festival and the chat show The Nicholas Parsons Happy Hour with celebrity guests.
