That Face playwright Polly Stenham brings her gripping new play about the cost of integrity to the National Theatre.

A tropical thriller where nothing is quite what it seems, Hotel tells the story of Robert and his family, who escape to a secluded desert island for a much-needed break. But beyond the white sand and beautiful sunsets, dark clouds gather… a storm is coming.

Suitable for individuals aged 15 and older, the production is directed by Maria Aberg and features a cast including Ntonga Mwanzi and Susan Wokoma.

Stenham’s play That Face earned her both the 2007 Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best New Play and 2008 Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright following its acclaimed run at the Royal Court. Her other plays include No Quarter and Tusk Tusk.
