Herbert Appleman's new version of Gilbert and Sullivan's ocean-bound love story. Read More >
Aboard the HMS Pinafore, the Captain’s daughter Josephine is deeply in love with Able Seaman Ralph Rackstraw. However, she, and the ship are about to be visited by Sir Joseph Porter, First Lord of the Admiralty, who has brought along a few members of his family for good measure. Not only that, Josephine is about to be betrothed to him, rather than the man she loves.
Herbert Appleman’s version of this much-loved operetta features the original music and much of Gilbert’s lyrics, but focuses attention on the antics of cutting raconteur Dick Deadeye.
