Here Comes J. Edgar!
Tickets From £25.50

An irrepressible musical comedy about the love of power and the power of love.

As Director of the FBI from 1924 to 1972, J. Edgar Hoover secured his position as one of the most powerful men in America by gathering information on the private lives of others. Yet behind all the power lay the secret of his own sexuality, his flamboyant partying and his lifelong love affair with his deputy Clyde Tolson.

Co-written by legendary satirist and performer, Harry Shearer (The Simpsons, Spinal Tap) and acclaimed comedy writer Tom Leopold (Cheers, Seinfeld) with music composed by Peter Matz (Barbara Streisand, Burt Bacharach), Here Come’s J. Edgar! tells this weird and twisted story.

This is the World Premiere of an irrepressible musical comedy about the love of power and the power of love, and what a simple black dress and a single strand of pearls can do for a guy!

There isn’t a strict dress code for London theatre, so wear whatever you’ll feel comfortable and confident in. Most people go for smart casual - think jeans or trousers with a nice top, a casual dress, or a shirt and trainers. If you’re heading to an evening show, on a date, or celebrating something, you might fancy dressing up a bit more, but it’s completely optional.
Arriving at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time helps keep things smooth and stress-free, giving you plenty of time to collect tickets, go through security, and get settled in your seat before the performance begins.
