Havana Rakatan, one of Sadler’s Wells’ most successful productions, returns to the Peacock theatre for an eagerly awaited fifth season. Originally the dream of Cuban choreographer Nilda Guerra, Havana Rakatan has now toured around the world to rave reviews and has been enjoyed by thousands of dance fans.

Salsa, mambo, jazz, bolero, son, cha-cha-cha and rumba all come alive in Havana Rakatan, a dazzling dance display of Cuban passion that is guaranteed to get heads nodding and feet tapping.

Eight-piece band Turquino also returns with to perform in Havana Rakatan, bringing the rhythm and soul of Havana, where live music is a way of life, right here to London.

A captivating journey through the dance and music of a truly unique country, Havana Rakatan is “a stunning slice of Havana life” (The Independent), performed by one of the most talented and versatile groups of dancers to emerge from Cuba in many years.
