Interweaving traditional puppetry skills with modern multimedia effects, Yeung Fai stages his personal story in a show that is both poignant and funny.

Set against the vast changes that swept China during the 20th century, Hand Stories charts his journey from persecution to freedom in the West, told through a series of wordless sketches, visual poems and living sounds.

In this compelling spectacle, skilled artists manipulate dazzling figures, from tigers to dragons, concubines to clashing warriors, with extraordinary virtuosity.

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision.
