Stoppard and DobsonEd Stoppard, son of playwright Tom Stoppard, takes on the title role in the English Touring Theatre’s production of Hamlet. Having toured the UK, Hamlet now transfers to the New Ambassadors theatre in London from 13 February.

Stoppard is joined by Anita Dobson as Queen Gertrude, Alice Patten as Ophelia and David Robb as Claudius.

Will Hamlet get revenge for his father’s murder or will he go mad first? Could the loopy Ophelia avoid a watery grave? Will anyone survive at the end? To be or not to be? It’s anyone’s guess.
