The Gruffalo has sold more than a million copies and been translated into 29 languages, including Gaelic and Crotian. It once held the title of Britains bestselling picture book for five years, and the stage production has been touring to sell out audiences around the country The Gruffalo’s child is fast following in its predecessor’s paw prints, ater instantly entering into the bestseller lists after its pre-Christmas release in 2004. It was named Children’s Book of the Year at the British Awards 2005.
