Two-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange leads the cast of Tennessee Williams’s familial drama.

1930s St Louis: Tom Wingfield tells the story – as he remembers it – of the strained relationship between him, his aging mother Amanda and his extremely shy sister Laura. In the absence of their father, it is Tom who must support the family and Tom who is charged with finding a gentleman friend for his sister.

Lange’s previous West End credits include A Streetcar Named Desire and Long Day’s Journey Into Night, for which she received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination. She won Academy Awards for her performances in Tootsie and Blue Sky, and her other film credits include The Postman Always Rings Twice, Frances and Music Box.
