Ibsen’s powerful drama of duty and infidelity.

Mrs Alving is preparing for the opening of the orphanage built in her husband’s memory, hoping that she will never have to speak of him again. Her son is back for the big day, but has some big news of his own and has taken a shine to his mother’s maid, a girl who is not entirely who she seems.

This new version of Ghosts is written by Amelia Bullmore, whose debut play Mammals won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, enjoying a sell-out run at the Bush and a national tour.
