Featuring the original American cast of wonderful singers, amazing dancers and sensational musicians performing such classics as Georgia on My Mind, Hit the Road Jack, I Can’t Stop Loving You and Unchain My Heart. The musical, which features a 15-piece orchestra, six Broadway singers and ten British dancers and is directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd, will be the first that King has presented in the West End. Ray Charles was a pioneering pianist and soul musician who helped shape the sound of rhythm and blues, and brought a soulful sound to everything from country music to pop. Frank Sinatra has called him the only genius in the business. The Genius of Ray Charles had its US premiere in Eldorado, Nevada.
