A young photographer is tasked with an unorthodox commission – to capture the seven deadly sins – in this electrifying and dazzling original new musical, receiving its world premiere at St James Theatre.

Exposure The Musical – Life Through A Lens tells the story of Jimmy Tucker, who is charged by a stranger with the most exhilarating photo shoot of his life: over the course of one evening he must find and capture manifestations of each of the seven deadly sins, alive and kicking in modern London.

So begins a fast and furious race through the night, including extraordinary encounters with ex-girlfriends, revelations about his family history and an illuminating view of intoxicating celebrity culture. It soon becomes apparent that there’s more than just money at stake.

Making use of a partnership with the iconic Getty Images archive, this brand new show, with book, music and lyrics by Mike Dyer and dramaturgy and direction by Phil Willmott, features a stunning contemporary score – and no shortage of witty commentary on the price of fame.
