The world-renowned Shanghai Ballet invigorate legendary Chinese poem The Song of Everlasting Regret in Echoes Of Eternity, playing as part of the London Coliseum’s Shanghai Season.

Bringing to life the legendary verse from the 8th-century canon of Chinese literature, it tells the tale of the turbulent romance between Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, his beloved imperial concubine.

Transporting the story of love, conflict and, ultimately, tragedy, to the present day, the show features choreography by Patrick de Bana to showcase a poignant, memorable exploration of love and loss through extravagant dance, a literal demonstration of poetry in motion.

An experience not to be missed.
