A fresh take on the story of a rather unattractive duckling who finds that beauty can come from the most unexpected places.

In a world of pretty young ducks, Ugly is big, grey and… ugly. Fed up with being the butt of the jokes on the pond, he leaves, looking for a warmer welcome elsewhere. As winter draws in he discovers a big world of kindness, cruelty, selfishness and generosity. Along the way he meets a couple of street-wise outlaw geese, joins a cat and a hen on a spiritual retreat and nearly wrecks a family’s Christmas.
