Following successful runs on Broadway and in the West End, David Esbjornson’s award-winning production of Driving Miss Daisy comes to the Richmond theatre for a strictly limited season as part of a national tour.

The heart-warming play tells the charming and compelling tale of the unlikely friendship that blossoms between Daisy Werthan (Gwen Taylor), a prickly, elderly matriarch, and her kind-hearted chauffeur Hoke Colburn (Don Warrington).

As the wheels turn and the decades roll by against a backdrop of prejudice, inequality and civil unrest, the pair slowly transcend their differences and ultimately grow to rely on each other far more than either ever expected.

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision.
