Following successful runs on Broadway and in the West End, David Esbjornson’s award-winning production of Driving Miss Daisy comes to the Richmond theatre for a strictly limited season as part of a national tour.

The heart-warming play tells the charming and compelling tale of the unlikely friendship that blossoms between Daisy Werthan (Gwen Taylor), a prickly, elderly matriarch, and her kind-hearted chauffeur Hoke Colburn (Don Warrington).

As the wheels turn and the decades roll by against a backdrop of prejudice, inequality and civil unrest, the pair slowly transcend their differences and ultimately grow to rely on each other far more than either ever expected.
