Drama, comedy, love and dazzling choreography combine in Petipa’s enchanting classic, which follows Kitri’s father’s attempts to find a more lucrative match for his daughter than her lover Basil.

The production was originally created for the Bolshoi in 1869, and was re-staged in 1999.
