Two towers. Ten years. Thousands of opinions.

Decade is a new site-specific production by innovative director Rupert Goold which examines the legacy of an event which changed the world forever. A pool of major writers and thinkers explore our responses to the horrific events of 11 September 2001, when the twin towers of New York’s World Trade Centre fell to the ground.

Decade is set in a disused office building in St Katharine Docks, creating an immersive theatrical experience which takes audiences from the tranquil setting of the River Thames to the bright blue skies of downtown Manhattan and beyond.

Director Goold has won acclaim for his innovative productions including Enron (Olivier Award for Best Director), Six Characters In Search Of An Author, The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot and Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Macbeth (Olivier Award).

Please note this production does not take place at the National Theatre, however tickets can be booked through the National Theatre box office. The production is staged at Commodity Quay, St Katharine Docks, E1W 1AZ
