First Performance 20/07/2004
Closing 29/08/2004

Paulina waits in the dark for her husband to return. He is late. Eventually he arrives late into the evening, however he is not alone. It transpires that his car has broken down and a stranger has rescued him and brought him home. To Paulina, Dr Miranda is not a stranger: she believes he is the man who tortured her some years ago. She decided to exchange roles and extract a confession from him. Has she got the right man or is this a case of mistaken identity?

Anelica Torn returns to the King’s Head Theatre to play Paulina, having memorably appeared there earlier in the year as Sylvia Plath in Edge.
Paul Alexander also returns as director. Leigh Lawson plays the role of Dr Miranda and Rupert Wickham plays the husband Gerardo Escobar.
