Two-time BAFTA winner James Fox and his son Jack star in the West End premiere of this touching comedy at the Apollo Theatre.

Based on the award-winning book by journalist Roger Mortimer, Dear Lupin brings the humorous father and son letters from Mortimer’s Dear Lupin, Letters To A Wayward Son to life on the London stage following a successful UK tour.

The book was published in 2012, receiving rave reviews for its revealing and nostalgic collection of letters spanning nearly 25 years. It has been adapted for the stage by actor and writer Michael Simkins, whose acting credits include Hay Fever at the Duke of York’s Theatre.

A member of Britain’s most famous acting dynasties, James’ screen work spans everything from television series Death In Paradise to legendary films including Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines and Performance. His numerous theatre credits include Old Vic productions of The Happiest Millionaire and Henry V.

His son Jack has appeared on stage in productions including The Portrait Of Dorian Gray at the Riverside Studios, while on screen his credits include Mr Selfridge and Our Zoo.

Please note, this show is recommended for ages 14 and older.
