The National Youth Theatre presents Shakespeare’s play of inter-generational battle, Cymbeline.

Imogen has secretly married her childhood friend and first love, Posthumus. Her furious father, the King, banishes the new groom and unwittingly sets in motion a steadily darkening tale of betrayal and murder.

Rooted in the enchanted world of fairytale – with its princesses, wicked stepmothers, magic forests and old kings – Shakespeare’s Cymbeline soon descends into a savage battle between the generations.
