Crystal Pite, one of the most innovative and exciting choreographers working in Canada today, brings her company Kidd Pivot to the UK for the very first time with the award-winning Lost Action.

Fuelled by the outstanding abilities of seven performers (including Crystal Pite herself), Lost Action explores themes of conflict and loss in a series of solos, duets and ensemble moments that merge fluid movement with violent gestures.

A thrilling analysis of dance and the body becomes a metaphor for life and loss in the emotionally gripping Lost Action, which is set to a diverse soundtrack by long-term collaborator Owen Belton.

A former dancer with William Forsythe’s Ballett Frankfurt, Crystal Pite was the youngest person ever to receive the Clifford E Lee Choreographic Award in 1995 and was formerly choreographer-in-residence at Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
