The RSC production of Arthur Miller’s witch hunt drama.

Iain Glen plays John Proctor, a man whose relationship with a teenager leads to accusations of witchcraft which affect his wife. In the end he must choose between saving his life or his reputation. Miller’s play, which was first staged in 1953, famously draws parallels between the Salem witch hunts and McCarthyism in 1950s America.
