Largely based on the 1930s Gershwin musical Girl Crazy, Crazy For You is a 1992 musical which won both Tony and Laurence Olivier Awards for its premiere production.

Continuing the Open Air theatre’s tradition of staging a musical a year, the venue’s 2011 offering is a new production of Crazy For You, presented by the team that brought us Hello, Dolly! in 2009, including director Timothy Sheader and award-winning choreographer Stephen Mear.

The much-loved score includes the Gershwin numbers I Got Rhythm, Someone To Watch Over Me and Nice Work If You Can Get It.
