Circus Maximus sees 20 great circus acts dazzle and delight audiences with remarkable feats of skill, physical prowess and unexpected hilarity.
A show unlike anything you’ve ever experienced, this is the UK’s first circus competition. The country’s finest circus talents compete for the votes of the audience and judges for a £5,000 prize and the opportunity to develop a new show with Underbelly Productions and Circus Space.
THE HEATS
A captivating cabaret of crackling circus, where anything can happen. Across four rounds, the acts perform live to win your vote. Only one act from each heat can qualify for the finals. Who goes through? The audience decides.
THE FINALS
Circus Maximus’s stellar acts star in a pageant of circus mastery as they compete for the final prize as the top five acts from the heats perform a stunning new show created especially for the competition.
The panel of expert judges chooses the ultimate competition winner. Their discussions are in strict secrecy, but they take the audience vote into account, so be there to support your favourite.
Each show runs for an hour. Suitable for all ages.
HEAT 1 – 7 – 10 May 7pm
HEAT 2 – 11 & 12 May; matinee and evening both days 2.30 & 6pm

HEAT 4 – 18 & 19 May matinee and evening both days 2.30 & 6pm
