Roll up, roll up, for all the thrills and daredevil entertainment of Circus 1903, making its European premiere at the Southbank Centre this Christmas!
From the producers of one of the world’s biggest magic shows, The Illusionists, the turn-of-the-century Circus 1903 promises heart-stopping, jaw-dropping spectacle in abundance.
From sensational larger-than-life elephants in the ring – stunningly crafted by the puppeteers behind War Horse – to dangerous acts from all corners of the globe, its broad cast never fails to leave you astounded. The show arrives in London fresh from wowing audiences at the Paris Theatre in Las Vegas.
This year marks 250 years since the world’s first ever 42ft circus ring was laid down on an abandoned patch of land in Waterloo by the ‘father of modern circus’, Philip Astley. With contortionists, acrobats, jugglers, trapeze and high wire performers – and much, much more – Circus 1903 will transport audiences of all ages to the mesmerising Golden Age of circus.
In town for three weeks only, so book early to avoid disappointment!
