South Africa during the Apartheid years: Philip and Kay Keebler live with a terrifying secret. When Philip is interrogated by the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission, no-one knows whether they will they pardon or condemn him?

Playwright Dirk de Villiers was inspired to write Christine, which is given its world premiere at the New End, by the incident which also prompted him to leave South Africa for Britain.
