A young couple settling into their new home are visited by two door-to-door salesmen. But the sales pitch takes on nightmare proportions and threatens the very foundation of the couple’s life together. In a climate that confuses what we want and what we need, Chimps explosively and wittily highlights the consequences of being caught between the two.

Chimps premiered at Hampstead in July 1997 with a cast including Fraser James, Ashley Jensen, Darren Tighe and Nicholas Woodeson.
