Bizet’s Carmen is a compelling story of murder, passion and lust. After using her feminine wiles to seduce her prison guard Don Jose, Carmen soon casts him aside in favour of a more glamorous catch. Driven crazy by passion and jealousy, Don Jose takes his revenge in the inevitable and tragic conclusion.
