Compañía Metros’s dance interpretation of the steamy tale of love, lust and betrayal updates the setting to an Andalusian tobacco factory. Bizet’s powerful score is complemented by elements of traditional Spanish music in this version of Carmen, which blends the colour and passion of flamenco with contemporary dance styles to create a compelling production.
