Indisputably one of the greatest male dancers of his generation, Carlos Acosta has thrilled audiences throughout the world with his breathtaking performances which include principal roles in nearly every ballet in the classical repertoire.

For this exclusive programme of classic and modern works Carlos Acosta follows in the footsteps of such giants as Nijinsky and Nureyev, exploring the nature of the male muse in classical ballet.

The programme for Carlos Acosta: Apollo And Other Works includes George Balanchine’s Apollo, set to Igor Stravinsky’s timeless score, plus Jerome Robbins’s A Suite Of Dances and Afternoon Of A Faun – all performed by Acosta, alongside a company of awe-inspiring dancers.

Carlos Acosta: Apollo And Other Works features a full live orchestra and a specially commissioned new work entitled Young Apollo by choreographer Adam Hougland, set to music by Benjamin Britten, making this an absolute must-see event this December.
