The Reverend James Morrell has the perfect wife, the perfect family and the perfect home. But when a young poet falls passionately in love with his beautiful Candida, his idealistic world is turned upside down.

Candida, one of Shaw’s “Plays Pleasant”, was first performed in 1904 an event being celebrated by the Oxford Stage Company’s summer tour of the UK.
