“All Singing, All Dancing” is one of the UK’s most notorious TV talent shows, although it’s seen better days: popularity is dwindling and viewing figures declining. Things take a dramatic turn, however, when one of the judges is found murdered in her dressing room, rapidly catalysing a media frenzy. Reporters clamour at the studio’s entrance and the judges’ pictures plaster every paper. After months of uncertainty, the programme is suddenly hot property again.

Meanwhile, office assistant Stephen suspects the show’s tyrannical producer Veronica, might have been involved. As he pieces the clues together, the grisly truth behind the show begins to emerge, and Stephen soon discovers there’s far more to “All Singing, All Dancing” than meets the TV screen. Will his feelings for contestant and bookie’s favourite Pippa get in the way?

The play, to be performed at the Hen & Chickens Theatre in London from 23rd April – 4th May, is the London fringe debut of James Morton, writer of acclaimed shows Richard and Judy: The Musical and Scream Queens Anonymous. A gripping tale of deceit, death and duets, Britain’s Got Talons is satire at its most sinister.
