In 2003 Bridget Christie joined the diary column of The Daily Mail. While there she made a lot of coffee, was strangled by Gene Wilder, fed a fish by Peter Stringfellow and saw Alan Yentob fall off a chair. She stayed for five years. 

Following her acclaimed Court of King Charles II shows, this is Christie’s frank and hilarious account of the questionable practices of the modern showbiz hack.
