Following runaway success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015, satirical comedy Boris: World King arrives at Trafalgar Studios 2 by pay-as-you-go bike to bring the nation’s favourite bumbling politician to the stage.

With his days of Mayor of London numbered, this gaffe-packed riotous comedy portrays the politician as the star of his own West End show, wobbling on the brink of power and battling for his very political relevance and continued existence in the eye of the public.

Written by Cameron Mackintosh New Writing Award-winner Tom Crawshaw, and starring One Man, Two Guvnors cast member David Benson, Boris: World King received critical acclaim premiering at Edinburgh in 2015, with particular praise reserved for its examination of both Johnson’s inimitable charm, and its rather more pointed application.

Filled with references to the unique traits and memories that have made him so beloved to the public, from ancient Greek lectures to wiff-waff, and verbal slips and tumbling trips aplenty, this biting satire appears nightly at the West End theatre closest to Downing Street.
