Bandleader Betty has a problem. Every time glamorous all-girl band, The Blonde Bombshells, play a GI camp, their members go AWOL! Now there’s an important BBC job in the offing and Betty needs to find new musicians – fast.

Among those drafted in are naive schoolgirl Liz – who plays a mean clarinet; Miranda – an upper crust saxophonist; singing num Lily; and Patrick – a male drummer prepared to don a frock to avoid a drafting….

Direct from a sell-out success in London and based on the TV film The Last Of The Blonde Bombshells starring Judi Dench, this hilarious musical play is filled with live performances of 1940s hits performed by a 8-piece swing band. Packed with classics including Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree, T’aint What You Do and Goodbyee, Blond Bombshells is guaranteed to leave you singing along well into the night.
