Botis Seva presents BLKDOG as part of Sadler’s Wells 20th Anniversary, a specially commissioned triple bill of work (other work from Julie Cunningham & Alesandra Seutin) looking to the future and the next 20 years of dance in the prestigious theatre.

Inspired by Shoot The Damn Dog by Sally Brampton, BLKDOG is Botis Seva’s bleak and withdrawn commentary on having to cope with being a childlike adult and an untamed artist. How far does one have to go before they are overpowered by life and expectations? Because after all, isn’t an untamed adult just a childlike artist?
