The Black Entertainment Comedy Awards, (BECA) were established to support Black UK comedians and encourage the practice of this craft through public acknowledgement. BECA is committed to showcasing the diverse work of Black UK comedians. These comedic entertainers have made enormous contributions to the entire entertainment industry; including movies, television, writing and theatre.

On 2nd March, the eighth BECA Awards will be held at Hackney Empire. This will be a most spectacular night, attended by the stars of the comedy and entertainment world, eafer to see who will win these coveted awards. The night will be made extra special by guest comedians from the USA.
