Birmingham Royal Ballet’s double bill of dance Spring Passions brings together Daphnis And Chloe with The Two Pigeons, two pieces choreographed by Sir Frederick Ashton.

Set to a score by Ravel, Daphnis And Chloe is the tale of lovers struggling against jealous rivals and marauding pirates.

The Two Pigeons, which features music by Messager, tells the story of a young man who experiences frustration, excitement, love and loss.
