The friendship between Fitzwilliam Museum curator Sir Sydney Cockerell, Nobel Prize winning author George Bernard Shaw and Benedictine nun Dame Laurentia McLachlan lays at the heart of this play about friendship, learning and the search for answers. The play was created by Hugh Whitmore using the trio’s letters and essays.

Whitmore’s plays include Stevie, Pack Of Lies and Breaking The Code. Among his recent work for television is the multi-award winning The Gathering Storm.
