Jenna Augen reprises her UK Theatre Award-winning performance as Daphna in Joshua Harmon’s critically acclaimed Bad Jews.

Directed by Michael Longhurst (Constellations), the play tells the story of one family’s fight for a family heirloom. A beloved grandfather has died and an item with religious significance is up for grabs. But who is most deserving of it? Would it be the bossy, overbearing and fanatically religious Daphna, her wealthy cousin Liam, his non-Jewish girlfriend Melody or Jonah, who would prefer not to get involved?

Set in a Manhattan apartment, Bad Jews follows this hilarious quarrel about family, faith and legacy as the contenders set at each other’s throats on the night after the funeral.

The production received its UK premiere at Bath’s Ustinov Studio in 2014 where it received a shower of critical acclaim. Original cast members  Gina Bramhill, Joe Coen and Ilan Goodman reprise their roles alongside Augen.
