Exiled from her home by the Old Devil Sea to the inland plains, Anna Christie’s life changed forever at just five years of age. Fifteen years later, she is reunited with the father who sent her away and sets sail in search of a new beginning.

Eugene O’Neill’s epic Pulitzer Award-winning play about love and forgiveness, Anna Christie charts one woman’s longing to forget the dark secrets of her past and hope for salvation.

The cast of Anna Christie is led by Hollywood star Jude Law, whose hit movies include Sherlock Holmes, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Cold Mountain and The Talented Mr. Ripley. He previously worked with the Donmar Warehouse on Hamlet, for which he played the title role in both the West End and on Broadway.

Law is joined in Anna Christie by Ruth Wilson, who won the 2010 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Donmar. Wilson’s other stage credits include Through A Glass Darkly at the Almeida theatre, while her screen career has included Luther, Small Island and The Prisoner.
